Why Breakfast is So Important
Your metabolism goes on break at night. If you do not eat breakfast it STAYS on break until you eat. Consequently you are not burning as many calories as you move around in the morning. When you eat your metabolism jumps into place (it comes back from "break" ) and starts burning calories.
You may think you are doing yourself some good by not eating, but you are missing an EASY way to lose weight (I know it sounds weird - eating). This way you are burning more calories when you are doing nothing. They say if you eat more for breakfast and dinner you are less likely to pig out at night. In my opinion that is up for debate, but the LOGICAL and scientific answer is your metabolism burns more calories during the day if you eat breakfast.
It doesn't have to be huge, but you do have to eat something to "Get the cooks back in the kitchen."
As for my current weight loss, I actually gained two few pounds. This is disappointing, but I'm going to take out my frustration in my exercise today. I'm not going to give up. I've seen this in the past (look at the graph from the last show). As long as my trend is going down, I'm headed the right way. DON'T GIVE UP.
