I just discovered a new show ” I can make you thin” with Paul McKenna. Paul is a leading hypnotist, and HUGELY popular in the UK. His show is on Sunday at 9 PM EST on the learning channel.

Today we go over his 4 Golden rules. They are:
Eat When You Are Hungry,
Eat What You Want,
Eat Consciously, and
Stop When You’re Full.

It sounds too easy, but he had people that proved it works. The somewhat bad news is his stuff is not at amazon.com (unless you buy it used). You can see his site at www.mckenna.com

I know I really liked the show and will be watching.

I recently put this into action and it worked. I slowed how I was eating and when I got full I quit. This not only saved me from stuffing myself, but it also saved my wallet (as one meal turned into two).

survey.pngI am happy today I was looking at my omron HBF500 and it tracks your weigh ins and I could see where 30 days ago I was 4 lbs heavier. That is quite a confidence booster.

Also I joined www.sparkpeople.com and I’ve been reading their articles, entering what I eat, and putting in my exercise. One of their recommendations is to get 5 servings of fruits and vegetables A DAY. So I’ve been eating more and more fruits (grapes, raisins, pineapple, oranges, bananas) and vegetables (peas, corn, green beans, squash). If you eat these, because they are low in calroies and fat, you an eat a TON of food by the end of the day. Going hungry is not a problem when you eat healthy.

I also talk about the result of an Eating Profile Survey I took over at Sparkpeople.com it takes about 10-15 minutes as its fairly detailed. It said I was a portion distorter, fast fueler, an emotional eater, and calroie and carb crazed.

I talk about the results and the suggestions that the website recommends. Some great tips on battling bad eating habits, and ways to eat healthier
