I just read an article about a study that the Univeristy of Toronto has put out. The study explains that fast food places use chemicals on their wrappers to stop the grease from getting on your hands. These are the same chemicals that are used in teflon pans, stain resistant carpets, etc.
You may be like me and think, “Well the wrapper on a burger only touches the food for a few minutes.” High levels of these chemicals are leached into the food that you eat, and thus are showing up in people's blood.
