New Biggest Loser Book 6 Weeks to a Healthier You

If you watched Biggest Loser television show, you heard how there is a new book out called The Biggest Loser: 6 Weeks to a Healthier You: Lose Weight and Get Healthy For Life!. I looked this over at the local book store and it is your basic Biggest Loser book. Lots of pictures, tips, exercises. To me it looks a lot like the 30 day jump start program. That book looked a lot like their fitness program book. These books are quick reads, filled with decent information. I some times think you are paying for a lot of images. Please keep in mind, this is not a book by Bob and Jillian. The authors are Cheryl Forberg RD, Melissa Robertson, Lisa Wheeler, and Biggest Loser Experts and Cast.

Other Books that were recently published include:

Change Your Brain, Change Your Body: Use Your Brain to Get and Keep the Body You Have Always Wanted This book by Dr. Daniel Amen who had authored Change your Body Change your Life. THE KEY TO A BETTER BODY—in shape, energized, and youthful—is a healthy brain. Based on the latest medical research, as well as on Dr. Amen’s two decades of clinical practice at the renowned Amen Clinics, where Dr. Amen and his associates pioneered the use of the most advanced brain imaging technology, Change Your Brain, Change Your Body shows you how to take the very best care of your brain.

Women Food and God: An Unexpected Path to Almost Everything takes a long hard look as to why you eat. It asks the question, “Why do you turn to food when there are so many other – better – things.

The Genius in All of Us: Why Everything You've Been Told About Genetics, Talent, and IQ Is Wrong This books isn't so much diet and health, but does bust stereotypes of being intelligent. In The Genius in All of Us Shenk beautifully explains why the nature-nurture debate is dead. It is not just the genes we are born with, but how we are raised and what opportunities are open to us that determine how smart we will become. Nurture and experience reshape our genes, and thus our brain. Shenk argues that the idea we are either born with genius or talent, or we aren’t, is simply untrue.
