I was watching Bob Harper on the Biggest Loser last night work out the first lady. How cool is that. The best part is he didn't hold back. I would love to interview Bob some day. I loved his first book “Are you ready?” If you are an emotional eater (and who isn't) it's a must read. Now he has a new book coming out.
It turns out this new book will be a first ins series. He said this about the book (coming out May 15, you can pre order now)
Here is what is coming from Bob.
“THIS ISN'T ONLY A RULEBOOK. Part I of the book is The Skinny Rules—the 20 principles you need to read, understand, and make an effort to really live by. But then I've also created Part II, The Skinny Way, which is a day-by-day menu plan that will get you through the first 30 days of living by the Rules. And Part III, The Skinny Tools, houses the recipes and tips that you'll be called on to look at, cook, and consume! My intention has been to take the guess work out of losing weight for you. After the first 30 days on the program you will have lost weight and you'll be more confident in eating and living according to my Rules. Don't get me wrong, it won't be easy. ‘Easy' does not work. But it will be liberating.”
Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser recently did an hour long talk to employees of the State of Virginia. He gives some insight into how he got on the Biggest Loser, and who some of his favorite contestants were.
He also gives some topics that are covered in his book. He discusses (as his book does) emotional eating. He also gives some info “behind the scenes of the TV show (like the contestants cook their own meals).
