Well tis that time of year again where we start over. We to get THERE you have to know where HERE is so yo ucan get from HERE to THERE. Here is where I am.

By measuring everything you can track progress, but also it gives you the ability to set up mini goals. Instead of saying I want a better looking butt, you can say I want to lose 1″ off my butt. You can track it. If you can’t track it you can’t improve it.
Be sure to keep your goals positive, and specific.
Work on your attitude, don’t believe the lies of your inner voice. You are worth it, and you can do it.
We understand that tracking our calories going in and out as well as other statistics like blood pressure, body fat, and other stats can be hard to incorporate into our daily lives. When I went looking, I was surprised at how many wireless, or Internet connected devices there are.
For example right now I’m experimenting with fatsecret.com (a free site that allows you to put in what you want, and your exercise, in addition to other items). How did I stumble across it? There was a free application for my droid phone. The really cool (if you’re a geek) thing is I can use the camera in my phone to scan the ISBN code on the package and (in most cases) it recognizes the item, and I simply enter what meal I ate this product. It then synchronizes with the website. This way if I’m at work, I can go to their website (fatsecret.com) and put in the food I ate while working (I plan on doing a video on this in the future). The one thing I really like about fatsecret.com is there are almost zero advertisements on the site. There are tons of ways to track your food intake .
Today I found some interesting videos that point out how a bad diet will not be beaten by cardio. This video (I believe) is to promote their weight training program (as they put down cardio). What I like to point out is that how easy it is to undo any exercise you’ve done with just a few cookies, etc.
This is one of the reasons why I like to exercise in the morning. I start off the day on the right foot, I feel confident, and I don’t want to “erase” the calories I’ve burned off. This video shows you just how quickly you can ruin your weight loss efforts with a bad diet.
I was listening to your podcast while on the Elliptical this AM,and wanted to thank you for the tip on the Gymboss. I found the link on your site and ordered one. I'm 22 days into my Body-for-LIFE challenge and have not found a really good way to signal myself that it's time to ratchet it up a notch. This little device looks like just the ticket for a pretty cheap price.
Thanks for the podcast - I enjoy it and appreciate your honesty and sharing the journey.
Sincerely,
Mindy
