Did you know about the effects of High Fructose Corn Syrup? I didn't. It blocks your body's ability to feel full, AND it is easily turned into FAT. Great so you don't' feel full which makes you want to eat more, and when you do it turns into fat. I got this information while listening to “You: On a Diet” which I purchased as an audio book from Audible.com (they have a limited time offer right now where you get your first three months for $7.49).
The best thing is you find this in “fat free” foods. I found it in two of my favorite foods (Sprite and Mountain Due). As fructose is just bad news I've found a new drink and that is Fruit20 by Kraft. Other water I tired had Salt (Persani) and Propel (from Gatorade) had a TON of sugar in it.
Also, try to limit the amount of food you eat past 8 O'clock. When I did this, it made a difference (as most of the stuff I east after 8 is not good for me.
